Hyperion by Dan Simmons

Foundational work of sci-fi writing and it did not dissapointed. Crantenbury tales but sci-fy. The stories were just right, long enough, but not too long, original, and each of them had… something. Uncovering the characters and their motivations, the places where their lives crossed each other and the resons that they are on the hyperion. You just cannot give this anything less than 5. But the question still is… would this make my top 10 best sci-fy ever? I would definetly consider it.
